The global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by the Supreme and indomitable leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu condemn the recent kidnap of HRM Eze Samuel Agunwa Ohiri from his compound on the 6th of January 2024 at Orodo in Mbaitolu local Government of Imo state by Hope Uzodinma and co.
The IPOB intelligence unit uncovered those behind the heinous crime. The claim that the kidnappers were unknown gunmen was false. Those behind the kidnapping of the Eze Ohiri were Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and HRM Eze Cletus Ilomuanya. The duo kidnapped Eze Samuel Agunwa Ohiri and his brother Solomon Ohiri using the Imo State government killer squad led by Mr. Chinasa Nwaneri.
HRH Eze Ilomuanya went for revenge because the former governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, used Eze Ohiri to unseat him as the Chairman of Imo State Traditional Rulers during the Okorocha regime. The Traditional Rulers were tools of oppression by the two dictators in Imo State, namely Rochas Okorocha and Hope Uzodinma, against the Imo Town Unions and Communities.
IPOB is not interested in their political mismanagement or gambling. However, politicians and their political jobbers should not turn Alaigbo, particularly Imo State, into an unsafe place. Most of the kidnapping and forceful disappearances in Biafra Land have been politically motivated, but they will blame it on unknown gunmen or IPOB. Who are the unknown gunmen, and who are their sponsors?
IPOB is calling on Gov. Hope Uzodinma and Eze Ilomuanya to not murder Eze Ohiri and his brother Solomon Ohiri but to release them unharmed immediately. IPOB has made this secret-open so that the Imo State Government will understand that their secret plans can always be exposed. Should Eze Ohiri be murdered, Governor Hope Uzodinma and Eze Ilomuanya should be held responsible, not any unknown gunmen. The various kidnappings and killings going on in Imo State, which they tag on unknown gunmen or IPOB, were actually carried out by the killer squad of Hope Uzodinma led by Chinasa Nwaneri.
So many burnt houses belonging to Imo indigenes were burnt by Hope Uzodinma’s boys and political opponents in Imo State were all perfected by Chinasa Nwaneri to murder them or those who are seriously condemning Hope Uzodinma’s wrong decisions, the leader of killer squad of Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma is warming up to ensure that their lives are shorts, but GOV. HOPE UZODINMA AND EZE ILOMUANYA ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE KIDNAP OF EZE OHIRI AND HIS BROTHER- IPOB.

One thing is certain for Chinasa Nwaneri, you must bear the consequences of you deed with Hope Uzodinma.
The people of Imo state cannot abandon or forget the evil activities and atrocities of Ebubeagu militia in Imo State especially in Orlu, Okigwe and Mbaise.
Some of the corrupt politicians in our region were rigged into offices to destroy the traditions and cohesiveness among Ndigbo and create quarrels among the traditional rulers and president generals of communities. Governor Hope Uzodinma is a typical example. We advise Igbo traditional rulers to be wise when dealing with the handpicked Fulani politicians in our land.
Any traditional ruler who becomes a puppet for the politicians is doing so for his/her selfish interest. Igbo traditional rulers should stop availing themselves to corrupt politicians to be used against each other, and their people thereby causing quarrels and crisis among traditional institutions and communities.
Politicians will use and dump you and turn you against your subjects and your fellow kings. Remember, governors have a maximum of 8 years to work in their offices, after which they become irrelevant. However, as a king, your reign is till death unless otherwise truncated by a vicious governor or by your community when your reign goes contrary to the traditions.
Eze Ilomuanya must tell his governor and his killer squad to release Eze Ohiri safe and alive. Eze Ilomuanya must stop his revenge mission to avoid endangering more lives. Eze Ilomuanya should remember that Hope Uzodinma will vacate the governor’s seat soon, and the evil he started with the governor’s backing will haunt him afterwards. Governor Hope Uzodinma should also stop using his killer squad to terrorize dissenting voices in the state.
