In the year 2020, the Eastern Security Network (ESN) was established by the Biafran leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. And since its creation, ESN have emerged as an essential force that restored peace and have safeguarded the lives of the people in Biafra Land, especially against the marauding armed Fulani Herdsmen that previously killed, maimed Biafrans at different quarters and destroyed the farms of Biafran farmers. Created for this specific purpose, the ESN have played a pivotal role in curbing violence, criminality and ensuring the security of the region.

The establishment of ESN addressed the security concerns of the ordinary peoples of Biafra that enjoys no form of protection from the ruling class. This indigenous security outfit has become a symbol of resilience and a beacon of hope for the residents of the region, countered external threats and preserve the peace within Biafra land and have responded to the growing need for a local security apparatus that could effectively address the unique challenges faced by the region.

Since the security outfit was formed by Nnamdi Kanu in response to these prevailing security challenges in region, ESN have demonstrated her commitment to protecting the core purpose for which they are formed.

The objectives of ESN include, but are not limited to:

Protection of lives and property: ESN was established to ensure the safety and well-being of the people living in Biafra land.

Preservation of cultural identity: The network aims to protect the rich cultural heritage of the region and prevent any external influence that may threaten its existence.

Defense against external aggression: ESN serves as a shield against any form of aggression from both state and non-state actors, preserving the territorial integrity of Biafra land.

In the last Christmas and New Year festive periods, Biafraland enjoyed absolute calmness and celebrations galore, owing to the sacrifices of the men of ESN.

The tragic events that unfolded in Plateau State on December 24, 25, and 26, where over 200 Christians were brutally murdered by Islamic herdsmen, cast a dark shadow over the nation. The incident underscores the need for robust security measures to protect vulnerable communities. While Plateau State grappled with this devastating loss, Biafra land stood out as a beacon of relative peace, thanks to the presence and proactive efforts of the Eastern Security Network.

The stark contrast in security situations between Biafra land and other regions underscores the effectiveness of the Eastern Security Network. While external enemies pose a constant threat, ESN have proven itself as a formidable force against such adversaries. It is crucial to acknowledge the importance of ESN in maintaining stability and preventing the escalation of violence that has plagued other parts of the country.

Despite its noble objectives, the Eastern Security Network have faced opposition from entities that seek to undermine the peace and security it strives to uphold. Those declaring war on ESN can be aptly labelled as enemies of Biafra, because their actions jeopardize the safety and well-being of the people in the region. It is essential to acknowledge the value of ESN in protecting the interests of Biafra and to condemn any attempt to destabilize its operations.

In the face of external threats and opposition, it becomes imperative for the people of Biafra to unite in support of the Eastern Security Network and the Directorate of State (DOS) of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).

These entities work tirelessly to maintain peace, protect lives, and uphold the cultural integrity of the region. It is the responsibility of every individual in Biafra land to contribute to the collective effort of ensuring security and prosperity by supporting ESN and IPOB-DOS.

In the face of adversity, the Eastern Security Network stands as a testament to the indomitable spirit of Biafra. Let us unite against our common enemies, support ESN, and safeguard the peace and prosperity of our land. Together, we shall overcome.
