APC Tweet to Radio Biafra

APC Tweet to Radio BiafraThe fall out from the first Radio Biafra organised worldwide twitter campaign targetting heads of state and governments of the world have hit a raw nerve in corridors of power in Nigeria.

Reacting to the twitter phenomenon which has taken the world by storm and kept the word Biafra trending for nearly two days, APC the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba Islamist party of Gen Buhari has reacted furiously to this campaign by publicly proclaiming that Biafrans will be subjected to another calamity of starvation if they continue with the agitatiomn for a separate homeland away from Nigeria.

Reacting to the news that broke during Radio Biafra live broadcast, callers to the station demanded to know why a party that is seeking for the highest office in Anambra State through Senator Chris Ngige should be reminding Igbo people that Nigeria starved their fathers to death.

The twitter message from APC Party headquarters did not mince words in referring the effectiveness of mass starvation which was a policy initiated by the Yoruba man Obafemi Awolowo that led to the death of over a million children in Biafra between 1968 and 1970. Some of those that lived through the harrowing experience of mass starvation expressed the deep revulsion that such an issue could be raised by a political party participating in supposedly democratic society.

Indigenous People of Biafra as the global organisation championing the independence of a free and separate Biafran homeland has instructed their lawyers through its governing Executive Council to explore the possibilities of legal action against APC. They warned Biafrans to be vigilant and not to allow APC any foothold in Biafraland especially through the forthcoming governorship elections in the state where APC is seeking to entrench their candidate.

APC Governor Fashola it will be recalled is the person that abducated and forcibly deported Igbo people back to Biafraland as they were considered unfit to live in Lagos in the same country Nigeria.
