The Gerry Weber Open from Halle returns to Sky Sports with eight-time winner Roger Federer aiming to extend his winning record at the tournament.

Federer will be part of a star-studded line-up at the grass-court tournament in Germany and he is set to make his 15th appearance at the tournament held in the North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Swiss great holds the record for most overall titles (eight – 2003-06, 2008, 2013-15) and most consecutive titles (four), as well as most finals (ten, 2003-06, 2008, 2010, 2012-15).

Other players who will be strutting their stuff will be Kei Nishikori, Gael Monfils, Dominic Thiem and last year’s beaten finalist Alexander Zverev.

The tournament runs from June 17-25 – traditionally a warm-up for Wimbledon, which starts on July 3 – and will be shown live on Sky Sports. For the full schedule, head to Tennis on Sky for more.

Frenchman Henri Leconte won the inaugural event against Andrei Medvedev from Ukraine in 1993.

It has also crowned six German winners with Michael Stich (1994), Nicolas Kiefer (1999), David Prinosil (2000), Tommy Haas (2009 and 2012), Philipp Kohlschreiber (2011) and Florian Mayer (2016) all winning.
