Sunday’s pre-season friendly between Keighley and Bradford was held up when a goose made its way onto the pitch.
The action was paused as attempts were made to gently coax the animal away from the field of play, which eventually worked as the game resumed at Cougar Park.
The Cougars went on to win the encounter 25-24, after drawing level late in the game through a well-placed kick over the Bulls defence, which Emmerson Whittel latched onto for a converted try.
With the game nearing an end, Matthew Beharrell slotted a drop goal over for the Cougars to take the lead for the first time in the afternoon, which was enough to seal the victory against the Bulls.
