This will be the first time the US Open has ever been played at Erin Hills, Wisconsin.
TWO
The prize money for the winner will exceed $2million for the first time. The total tournament prize fund is $12m, with the winner getting $2.16m.
THREE
The number of strokes Dustin Johnson won last year’s tournament by at Oakmont. He finished on four under, with Scott Piercy, Jim Furyk and Shane Lowry sharing second.

Four players have won the US Open four times – the highest number of victories in the event. Willie Anderson, Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus make up that list.
