Andy Murray returns to action this week, live on Sky Sports, alongside Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka at the Dubai Tennis Championships.

The world No 1 has not played since his surprise fourth-round defeat to Mischa Zverev at the Australian Open in January.

Murray is the top seed and faces Tunisia’s Malek Jaziri first up as he resumes his bid for a first title of 2017 following his magnificent second half of 2016 that saw him rise to the top of the world rankings for the first time.

With rival Novak Djokovic in action in Mexico at Abierto Mexicano Telcel, Murray knows a strong run at a tournament he has never won will put his season back on track with three more majors and the Masters 1000 series about to get underway.

Murray was a runner-up in 2012 when he lost to Federer and the Australian Open champion is also back in action since his fairytale victory in Melbourne – his 18th Grand Slam title and first since 2012.

Federer, seeded third, is a seven-time champion in Dubai and is a likely semi-final opponent for Murray if he can come through his side of the draw – the Swiss great faces France’s Benoit Paire in the opening round on Monday.

In the other half of the draw, Stan Wawrinka (2) is the leading name and he opens up against Damir Dzumhur before possible meetings with Tomas Berdych and Gael Monfils.

Britain’s Dan Evans is also in action and faces Germany’s Dustin Brown in the first round, while he will team up with Gilles Muller in the doubles and they have been drawn against Murray who pairs up with Nenad Zimonjic

You can follow the action throughout the week on Sky Sports, starting on Monday with two sessions – the first gets underway from 10am on Sky Sports 3 with the second underway from 3pm on Sky Sports 2.
