The statement of the outgoing French Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Denys Gauer, shows that he is not fooled by Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari’s many lies about the genocidal actions been perpetrated against Nigerians under Buhari’s watch by Fulani herdsmen. Indeed, it should be enough to reveal to the world that Buhari cannot be trusted with anything he says because lying has become the native language of his government.

Expressing doubts about the involvement of foreigners in the several killings in Nigeria, the French man said the numerous killings in the country, especially those suspected to have been carried out by Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram insurgents, could not have been done by foreigners. Speaking with newsmen during the commemoration of 2018 French National Day in Abuja, Gauer identified impunity and injustice as the factors driving the killings and bloodshed in Plateau, Benue, Kaduna States and other parts of the accursed country.

He said the killings were as a result of struggle for land, adding that foreigners, including those alleged to be from Libya, were not involved in the bloodshed in the Middle Belt region. Some of his words read: “The reason for the killings is demography. Some people are fighting for land… I think impunity is encouraging the killings and those responsible must be punished. I don’t believe foreigners are involved in the killings. The second is justice. When there is that kind of killing, there must be proper prosecution and perpetrators must be properly sentenced. If that does not happen, then, it cannot end.”

This might as well be a direct response to Buhari’s lies on the issue. There is no argument, for those who know, that Buhari had told many lies to cover-up the killing field that Nigeria has become under his watch as he struggles to establish his Fulani Islamic hegemonic agenda, all over the expired British contraption called Nigeria. Buhari is Fulani, and therefore an intrinsic part of the agenda, which he has been spearheading since 2011.

The world saw that lie in the United States of America (USA) on April 30, as he stood alongside US President, Donald Trump. Without any pang of conscience, he lied to the world that the killings were perpetrated by Libyan trained militants. As if the lie was not enough, he added that Fulani herdsmen carry nothing else but sticks. If he was not a habitual and incorrigible liar, he would have told the world who sent the killers for training in Libya. He would have told the world how come Nigerian military and police were protecting them. If Buhari was not a habitual liar, he would have known that photographs of Fulani herdsmen with AK 47 are everywhere in the net as Biafrans have been making the world to know. He would have known that the world already knew so much about Fulani herdsmen to tag them the deadliest terrorist group in the world.

A very poor liar he is; he went back to Nigeria to tell another lie that is completely contrary to the one he told the world while with Trump. He claimed the killings were the handiwork of opposition politicians. Yet he did not name any politician. If Buhari was not such a very poor liar, he would have known that everybody in Nigeria, and many abroad, are aware that Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBA), which he happens to be their patron, has claimed responsibility for all the murders, and threatening other ethnic nationalities and peoples that they would kill more people. Buhari has not cautioned them; he has not rebuked them, and he has not stopped them. Instead, he has gone from place to place lying about a people and their activities, which he is the commander in chief.

With this exposition with the outgoing French envoy, Buhari should now know that though he can lie, but he can’t hide.
