Muslims have been enjoined to use their resources to propagate Islam and see the task of spreading the religion as a collective responsibility.
Dr Tajudeen Yusuff of the University of Lagos gave the charge  in a lecture entitled: “Islamic Propagation: A Collective Concern,” as part of activities marking the annual luncheon and award presentation of The Muslim Congress (TMC), Oyo State chapter, held in lbadan.

Yusuff decried lack of unity among Muslims, especially on the beginning and end of Ramadan fast, which culminates in a disparity on the celebration of the Eid ul-Fitr festival.
Alhaji Lasun Sanusi (SAN), in a remark, enjoined Nigerians to be steadfast in prayer to curb the menace of Boko Haram.
Earlier, the Waali of TMC, Oyo State chapter, Ustaz Abdul Mumin Busayri, decried the ongoing bombardment of Gaza by Israeli forces and called on the United Nations to find a lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian crisis.
