NEW ZEALAND SHOOTING AND THE RELENTLESS GRUESOME MASSACRE IN NIGERIA: DO YOU THINK THE WESTERN WORLD REALLY CARE ABOUT AFRICA?

It is regrettably unfortunate that massive black African population especially in Nigeria, has refused to learn from the apparent disregard for the sanctity of human lives, which has steadily been demonstrated by the nations, citizens and media outlets of the Western world.

It should be stressed that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which are black Africans amongst other tribes, entrapped in the Nigerian contraption particularly, should ask themselves, if the governments, citizens and organisations of the Western world actually care about the welfare and well-being of the African people.

It is this grave negligence towards Africans by these part of the civilised world that necessitated the call of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, on other indigenous tribes in Nigeria to rightly begin to demand for the elimination of all shackles of colonialism in the African continent against the citizens. The earlier the various tribes in Nigeria which include Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Fulani, Kanuri, Ijaw, Efik, Tiv, amongst many others, understand that IPOB mean well towards the total liberation of Africa, unlike the exploitative Western world, the better for all in Nigeria.

It is both shameful and height of hypocrisy for the civilized Western world especially, the governments of the United States of America and United Kingdom, to see that virtually all the mainstream media outlets like CNN, BBC, France 24 and Al-Jazeera, extensively and consistently, reported the terrorist attack in the mosque, in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand, with not even a single report carried by any of them, regarding the continuous senseless killings in Nigeria by the Islamic terrorists.

Quite unfortunate that the United States government and that of the United Kingdom, despatched condolence messages to the people and government of New Zealand but none of them deemed it fit to expedite action about Biafrans that were gruesomely killed in Kalabari kingdom towns of Abonnema, Okochiri, Bonny Island and other communities in Rivers State of Nigeria by the Nigerian army, drafted in for the elections. The courageous Biafran youths of Ijaw extraction really resisted the undemocratic army officers’ attempt to snatch ballot boxes during the presidential election of Saturday 23rd February, 2019.

Does any individual ever take notice of the American or British representatives, commiserating with the bereaved families over the massacre of forty able bodied Ijaw youths, sent to early graves by the Nigerian soldiers that worked for the APC cum Buhari controlled federal government? All that the foreign observers team could do after the bloody and grossly rigged election, was to declare that the exeecise was peaceful, free and fair.

Moreover, the Nigerian government sponsored, protected and adequately armed Fulani killer herdsmen, have been on killing spree of innocent indigenous people across the country. Hundreds have been killed, maimed and thousands displaced from their ancestral homes. CNN, BBC, France 24, Al-Jazeera and others have continued to maintain total media blackout just because lives in Africa especially within Nigeria, do not count before the Western world.

Premised on this glaring reality, I wish to categorically recall one Igbo adage here which states that: “He that is rejected, does not reject himself “. In fact, the negligence of the lives of black Africans has clearly shown that the Western world abhors anything Africa and Africans cannot reject themselves. Understanding the full import of what the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is doing in Nigeria, is really the answer to the whole thing.

The IPOB have right from years past, continued to call on all entrapped tribes in Nigeria to rise up and resist the colonial cynicism contained therein. The British government did not create Nigeria in 1914, having the interest of the people at heart but purely for selfish economic reasons. That is why is it that no matter how many people are massacred by the Nigerian army, Fulani killer herdsmen and Boko Haram terrorists, the Western world will still remain mute and even conceal such a heinous crime through orchestrated media blackout.

When then will the Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw, Hausa, Tiv, Efik and many other divergent indigenous people, arise to say enough is enough and join forces with Biafrans (IPOB), to unanimously place demands for the dissolution of Nigeria, so that the Western world will begin to place value on human lives entrapped in the Nigerian contraption? IPOB want all the tribes (indigenous nationalities) in the country to fully understand that if Nigeria continues to exist, wild animals will definitely become more valuable to these Westerners than human beings in Nigeria.

But should all the concerned come together and dissolve this “entity of death, destruction and retrogression”, through a well articulated and serious revolution, the prestige of human lives in Africa will be restored before the very eyes of the Western world. Africa must begin the process of ending anything that is holding her down and robbing her people of their humanness.

Dissolution of Nigeria and the creation of Oduduwa, Biafra, Arewa, Kwararafa, Ayatutu Republics and any other ethnic groups that could come together to form their own separate independent nation, will mark the beginning of the rising of the continent of Africa. A new chapter will definitely be opened unto her. Human lives will then become cherished and valuable even more than what obtains in Europe and America, as the dehumanizing colonial slavery and backwardness of the people, will be totally done away with.
