Parishioners massacred during Sunday service in Ozubulu, Anambra State by suspected Bokoharam / Fulani herdsmen on military uniform

BIAFRA: WHO KILLED WORSHIPPERS AT OZUBULU CATHOLIC CHURCH?

By Ifeanyi Chijioke -TBP

{The government may have chosen not to heat up the polity or cause ethnic cum religious tension in the country and trying everything possible to cover up the perpetrator. The odds point that the act was carried out by Hausa/Fulani that have penetrated Eastern Nigeria and encroaching. They have released a genocide song and passed a clear message that they have infiltrated our land with Ozubulu attack. Indeed; they have made their presence known and a warning of what is to come if the people defiantly seek their freedom without defense. The government must respect the dead by filing out the truth; they must not for the sake of political powers or one Nigeria trade lies even against the dead and their own conscience}

I have just observed one minute silence for the souls that were lost to the terrorist attack in Ozubulu; I wish to also extend my condolences to the families of the victims. God gives and God takes; God takes because we have not managed or defended it well. I have not come for a dirge but to answer the question, who killed those worshippers?

This is the persistent question since the news of the attack broke out; people are asking who killed worshipers at St. Philips Catholic Church Ozubulu. The question became popular simply because such thing doesn’t happen in Eastern region; it can only happen in Northern Nigeria. Had the event taken place in Northern Nigeria; there won’t be need for such question like who killed those innocent worshippers? We all know people that kill Christians in their worship places; they often don’t stop with only killing but destroy their churches. Since Islam forbids other religion and since the remarkable 1989 Abuja declaration to terminate every other religion for Islam to stand tall, the urge to massacre Christians who are nothing but infidels increased, the perpetrators love to take the massacre to their worship places to show their God is worthless and cannot protect them, that God they flaunt.

Yesterday in Ozubulu at St. Philips Catholic Church, according to reports, a masked gun man stormed the church and opened fire on worshipers, killing scores and wounding dozens. Another report said the attacker was in company and they all wore army uniform and drove in with a car but I will go with the former pending investigation.

The culprit was well armed and more on a mission against defenseless worshippers. He perpetrated his act and successfully escaped the scene without a trace. He shot sporadically, which means he has no target; everybody in the church was his target.

Children, mothers, fathers and youths were not spared; by clear assessment, you will be convinced that the culprit was spontaneously aggressive.

He was filled with vile and was offended by every single person that attended the church service. A good investigator will know that the culprit came to pass a message; a clear message of what is to come. This was a mission to kill everybody that came to the church service even as Ozubulu is not located in Kaduna.

The perpetrator masked himself because he was hiding something; he doesn’t want tribal signs on his face to be shown, looking at his face will automatically show where he came from. Hausa/Fulani knows that their tribal marks are tribal identities and to close a tribal identity, their faces must be masked which the perpetrators did exceptionally. The gun man knows the business and must leave no trace to give the mastermind’s story credence. The mastermind has told us it was a feud in South Africa that caused religious attack in Ozubulu.

Nigerian government magically concluded an investigation that ought to take months or even years in two hours. They came up with the finding that the attack was as a result of a feud between two natives of Ozubulu in far away South Africa. The two natives had issue and killing innocent worshippers was their settlement.

As at the time the government was making the finding public; death toll was drastically rising, those we thought had survived the attack were giving up at Nnewi teaching hospital. I got a wind that more than twenty died at a spot while thirty severely injured people died afterwards. The total figure of those that lost their lives reached 58; and here the government has the audacity to make claim of feud instead of condemn the religious attack and condole the families of the victims.

Could the attack be as a result of feud between two Ozubulu sons as claimed by Nigerian government?

I will not quickly disagree with the Nigerian government but will culturally, mathematically and religiously prove them wrong. This could be the first time in history an Eastern Christian could be said to have gone to a church and opened fire on worshippers. It has never happened because it is not the culture of the people of Eastern Nigeria; they respect God and religious places so much that even when they have a quarrel inside the Church, they leave the church gate before exchanging words or blows.

Christian religion overwhelmed Eastern Nigerian people that they find it hard to even criticize a pastor or priest, they so much believed in God and church that every single community in Eastern Nigeria has its own church. They spend millions to build churches; even an armed robber, ritual men, dangerous and evil men so much respect a church that nothing bad let alone killing done in the church. They believe that it is an unforgiveable sin to kill in a church and an irrevocable visa to hell.

Is Nigerian government telling us that we have lost our culture and religious belief by claiming a feud in South Africa warranted killing of 58 of our own in our most sacred place of worship?

When has it ever occurred in the history of the Eastern people that an Easterner killed dozens in a like-terrorist attack? An Easterner to carry a gun and go into a church to shoot sporadically and killed over 50 people is simply a twisting truth that history, culture and religion opposed. Such lie can never be sold because everything is against it. The government of Nigeria must look for another lie to cover this heinous religious cleansing carried out by Hausa/Fulani.

The government may have chosen not to heat up the polity or cause ethnic cum religious tension in the country and trying everything possible to cover up the perpetrator. We are all aware that this act was carried out by Hausa/Fulani who have penetrated Eastern Nigeria and encroaching. They have released a genocide song and passed a clear message that they have infiltrated our land with Ozubulu attack. Indeed; they have made their presence known and a warning of what is to come if the people defiantly seek their freedom without defense. The government must respect the dead by filing out truth; they must not for the sake of political powers or one Nigeria trade lies even against the dead and their own conscience.
