The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by Ohamadike, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has suspended any form of physical gathering in Nigeria by IPOB family members. This came as a result of unprovoked attacks, abductions and incessant killing of innocent Biafrans by the Nigeria Security Agents.

The memo dated 18th May, 2021 and signed by the IPOB HDOS, Mazi Chika Edoziem advised IPOB family members to be extra vigilant in their interactions with people and phone numbers they are not familiar with as the DOS is monitoring the developments and will provide further directives as the need arise.

Also, the Nigeria Police has declared “Operation Restore Peace in the South East” to further harass, intimidate, kidnap and kill our people at will without provocation. IPOB Intel revealed that one of the reasons for the operation is to thwart the IPOB Sit-At-Home Order in honour of our fallen heroes and heroines who paid the supreme prize that we might be alive today.

Recall that the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in his last broadcast on 16th of May warned that after 14 days the Indigenous People of Biafra shall by all means defend themselves from the Nigerian government sponsored terrorists to prevent the enemies from occupying our land.

IPOB DOS Memo reads: “As a result of a heightened state of affairs with respect to the Self-determination struggle of the Indigenous People of Biafra’s (IPOB), coupled with intelligence information at our disposal, it has become imperative to suspend till further notice all IPOB physical family gathering in the contraption called Nigeria. All Coordinators from the National to the Unit level should ensure adherence to this directive.

All family members in Nigeria are hereby advised to be extra vigilant in their interactions with people and phone numbers they are not familiar with. The Directorate is monitoring the development and shall provide further directives as the need arise”.
