So many injustices that was perpetrated against the people of the Eastern region known as Biafra, over the years, has risen today to hunt the Nigerian government.

After the genocidal war against Biafrans, it has been a calculated conspiracy to starve the people of Biafra from experiencing the massive development and federal infrastructures other regions has enjoyed. Hence it is pertinent to ask these questions.

Where in the East can be compared to Lagos, Abuja, Kano, etc, which has received more federal funded project? How many road projects have been constructed on our federal roads in Biafra land? How many infrastructures abound in Biafra? How many pedestrian bridges are built in each bus stop in Lagos alone compared to states in Biafra land? How many railway stations are functioning in Biafra?

How many learned Biafrans reside and work in her to the ratio of those in other regions? How many of our business men and women live and trade at home? They only make yearly visits to celebrate with their families and aged parents. Are the roads leading to our villages tarred and maintained by the government, whether at State or federal levels? Are we secured from invasions and various attacks from criminals and marauding Fulani herdsmen.

All these and more are the reasons we can never stop clamouring for Biafra. We need to develop as a people. We need Biafra now, so that we can restructure and turn her into a cosmopolitan city. We need Biafra so that we can stop patronizing other lands where we are regarded as nonentities, criminals and second class citizens.

We need Biafra to recover our lost identity and heritage. This is why a few has taken it upon themselves to fight and restore her departed glory.

Biafra represents upliftment, freedom, ability to work and earn a good living, end to unemployment, increase in entrepreneurship, educational opportunities at affordable rates, eradication of fraud and corruption, as well as transparency in governance.

When we get Biafra, we will only sojourn to other lands for visits and earn deserved respect. We will own estates and lives lost regularly in pursuant of greener pastures will cease.

Now, she has become a graveyard, for the unwanted, hopeless and helpless to reside in. Biafra has been made a cemetery, a grave for struggling survivors. This Eastern cemetery is crying out for modernization! She needs civilization not bondage to a thieving and fraudulent union! It is the time for ACTION!

Let us go back to the basics. Come home and build ourselves and posterity a city, just as Zerubabel rebuilt Jerusalem. There actually is no place like home! This Land of the rising sun must smile again. In her, lies our breath and we need to flourish as leaves shinning from its branches.
