Peter Obi Anambra politicsRadio Biafra will not forget the Victims of the mass murder in Anambra State: Ezu River bodies will never be forgotten

Igbo politicians have now joined their counterparts in Kano, Borno, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Kebbi, Niger, Plateau, Abuja, Yobe, Katsina and Adamawa States in the popular sport of Igbo killing in Nigeria.

The shame of the bodies of young Igbo men dumped in Ezu River continues the haunt the consciousness of the world and every human being with a shred of humanity left in him or her.

Peter Obi-pictured here, Uwazuruike the Massob leader and the criminal elements in Ohaneze are wholly responsible for the deaths of these young men whose bodies were dumped in Ezu River in Anambra State by the Nigerian Police acting on the orders of the Executive Governor of the state.

We continue to observe with shock the silence of majority of so-called Igbo intelligentsia that inhabit the internet realm and other walks of life who have so far failed to rise above their cowardice and timidity to condemn what is abominable in the sight of both God and man.

1. For how long will these killings continue?
2. Why is the average Igbo person nonchalant about the increasing death toll of their own flesh and blood in Nigeria, knowing fully well that they could be next?

Now it is public knowledge that the dead bodies floating in the river in Anambra State are those of fellow Biafrans, specifically young Igbo men, some of them MASSOB members, we as a people are now faced with the humiliating and ignominious spectacle of being killed even in our own land.

At present we are being killed all over Northern Nigeria, deported from Western Nigeria, our businesses destroyed and shops burnt yet those of us that manage it back safely to where we can call home are also being killed at the orders of Igbo politicians.

To lose over 100 young activists in the murderous hands and bullets of Nigeria security agents in Anambra State is disgraceful and abominable to say the least. That Peter Obi the Chief Security Officer in Anambra State sanctioned these killings, the same people he duped into voting for him, is testament to the hopelessness and moral decline in Igboland.

This is the second time that hundreds of Biafrans have been gunned down in cold blood in Anambra State under the governorship of Peter Obi.

We equally hold the leadership of MASSOB responsible for the deaths of these young men because they have so far proved impotent against the evil called Nigeria but have instead embarked on criminality and kidnapping themselves.

No police command in Nigeria can kill over 100 OPC, MEND or Boko Haram members without severe repercussions yet they get away with killing young Igbo men on a daily basis because they know the leadership of MASSOB has been compromised, criminalised, weak and in the pay of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Their sabotage means they cannot retaliate or muster sufficient deterrence to be respected.

This is what happens when a movement derails, they become useless even when they are being killed in their mother’s kitchen. These young people died for nothing and have already been forgotten.

Radio Biafra continues to lament the absence of truth, honour and dedication in the struggle for Biafra independence.

It is the duty of every right thinking person and patriotic Biafran to ensure that these young men will never be forgotten until their death is properly explained and those responsible held accountable.

Radio Biafra will not relent; neither will it bow to pressure to stop championing for justice to be served for these victims and their families.
