Beef displayed his prowess as an interviewer at the Sky Cart in an entertaining chat with Graeme McDowell, and he also joined Rich Beem and Mark Roe in the commentary box during the third round in Tampa.
The hugely-popular Englishman, who missed out on a place in the field at the Innisbrook Resort, then rejoined Sarah Stirk at the Sky Cart to answer just a few of the mountain of questions sent in by viewers in an #AskBeefonSky special.
Johnston talked about his early inspirations that led him to pursue a career as a professional golfer, while Le Golf National and Leopard Creek have been declared his favourite courses on the European Tour.
He also gave us some fun insight into the finer points in life, such as how he likes his steak cooked, while the in-form Tommy Fleetwood tweeted us to find out how Beef got on spending time with two-time major champion John Daly.
