Oil pipeline explosion Oyo

There was confusion on Saturday at Alapata community in Ido Local Government area of Oyo State when petroleum pipeline belonging to Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation exploded and burst into flames. The explosion on Saturday, along Apete-Akufo road, was the second in the council in less than two weeks.

Britain may suspend aid to Nigeria

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, on Friday said his government might consider cutting off aid to Nigeria over same sex marriage bill passed by the House of Representatives on Thursday.  The Senate had passed its own version in November 2011.
