The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has once again taken swipe at African leaders, decrying their inability to reason like human beings. Kanu who registered his anger both on Radio Biafra and his social media platform stated that African leaders failed us because their interest was more on becoming Kings and Emperors in an empire they neither created nor conquered.

The IPOB Supreme Leader told of how India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Kashmir were originally lumped together into one country by the British colonial powers but upon independence went their separate ways, adding that such decision occasioned the political, economic and socio-cultural stability in those countries today. The failure of African leaders to replicate this initiative precipitated clash of value systems, leaving in its wake incessant crisis in the continent.

Had the African leaders called all their people to ascertain the type of country that they wanted, Kanu argued, Africa wouldn’t have been in the mess it is in today. But they instead chose to build on the scripts handed to them by the white colonialists.

Stressing that Africa’s major problem is mentally based, Kanu noted that the white supremacists only handed us pseudo independence, withdrawing from our countries to rule by proxy. He added that the deficiency in our reasoning capacity provides them the ground to regard us sub-humans.
