June 15 2020 | Radio Biafra

The quest for Biafra seems to be fundamentally more visionary than most people can possibly grasp. This is more so with the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, asserting that the nation Biafra holds the key to Africa’s development.

Reflective of the earlier claim made by Emefiena Ezeani in the work “In Biafra Africa Died,” the charismatic leader of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, on Sunday the 14th of June, 2020, referred to Biafra as the light of God, adding that Britain fought Biafra to a standstill in order to stop that light from shining in Africa.

Kanu who made this thought-provoking assertion on Radio Biafra London said, “Do you know who we are? The light of God here on earth is Biafra, and that is what Janjaweed wants to extinguish. That is what Yoruba is delaying. The light of God in Africa.”

Speaking further, Kanu said, “Without Biafra Africa can never be developed. Britain knew this and they killed five million people with the help of Gowon and Awolowo … fellow blacks. They killed five million Biafrans to stop the light of God from shining in Africa.”

When one thinks of the Ahiara Declaration, Kanu’s assertion becomes more piercing. And to think Biafra, within the 30 months of war it existed as a free state, blockaded and under heavy bombardments, actually made a serious foray into technology, Kanu’s assertion becomes indisputable.

Within that 30 unholy months, conspired against by almost the entire civilized world, Biafra built her own refinery, airstrip, missiles, armoured tanks, and telecommunication system. She guided her missiles far and to precision, and even converted passenger planes to fighter jets.

Europe seeing this demonstration of black ingenuity, marvelled, and describing the young fighting nation as Japan of Africa, took counsel among themselves to stop the sun from piercing the African soil. Putting all these together, Kanu’s assertion makes more sense.
