The grievous humiliation suffered recently by the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose, in the hands of the Nigerian armed forces under direct instruction of the presidency despite his right to constitutional immunity protection, is to say the least, most callous, primitive and an act of irresponsibility. That in itself, is an open invitation to chaos and lawlessness in Ekiti State. When really will the youths and the good people of the state rise up to unanimously resist this slog of cowardice and inferiority complexity to unequivocally place a demand for the sovereignty of Oduduwa nation? Has the Fulani controlled Nigerian government not humiliated and used Yoruba leaders well enough? Regardless of the servitude of the Yorubas to the Fulani oligarchy in Nigeria since 1914 when the Nigerian enclave was concocted to appease these insatiable savages of the North, the reward the Yoruba nation has always received, centres on humiliation and outright killing of their leaders under the guise of politics.

The humiliation of Retired General Olusegun Obasanjo in 1995, Retired Lieutenant-General Oladipo Diya, Retired Colonel Abdulkareem Adisa, Retired Major Olusola Fadipe amongst many other military officers of Yoruba stock, unlawfully and disgracefully detained during the despotic regime of late General Sani Abacha, evidently buttress the point. The relentless killings of outstanding Yoruba leaders like Chief MKO Abiola, Colonel Adekunle Fajuyi, Chief Bola Ige, the African music legend – Fela Anikolapo Kuti, Chief Mrs. Kudirat Abiola and Chief Mrs. Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti are readily at hand. There is virtually no kind of heinous crime the Fulani controlled Nigerian government, has not committed against humanity and particularly the Yorubas. And yet, the youths remain disappointedly scared from challenging the status quo just like their Biafran counterparts who have staked their lives to confront this wave of devilish enterprise. Today, the demand for Biafra independence, has taken International stage.

This is the time for the Yorubas to call it quits with this maddening humiliation of their political leaders and stop shedding tears of their deaths. In the last three years precisely, the Nigerian government has defiantly continued to persecute Chief Femi Fani-iKayode because of his courageous affront as a Yoruba voice against the evil antecedents of the Fulani oligarchy. He has severally been incarcerated by this same tyrannical government of Nigeria but he has remained undeterred. Sometime in 2017, Fulani herdsmen invaded the domain of Chief Olu Falae, a known Yoruba elder statesman who served the country as Secretary of the Federation and got him kidnapped. His release after days was tied to payment of a ransom to these janjaweed criminal herdsmen. What a disgrace! Although report of the arrest of these Fulani terrorists was rife in the media, yet no realistic outcome of their prosecution was recorded.

Few days ago, it was the turn of a sitting Governor in the same Yorubaland, to test the murky waters of the Fulani tyrants. Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, was thoroughly humiliated and almost being killed by the janjaweed armed forces of Nigeria inside the Ekiti State Government House. Still, the youths and men of the state watched in disgraceful cowardice. When really will this crop of people arise as a voice to demand for what rightly belongs to them? When actually do they want the Oduduwa Republic if not now? The humiliation and killing of their reputable leaders should no longer be condoned. In as much as the Biafran youths are yet mending fences and courageously burying the hatches with their political leaders in Biafraland, it is also expedient that the Yorubas borrow a leaf. It was through the wisdom and guidance of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leadership, that such dialogues with relevant stakeholders in the land were facilitated. Otherwise, one could not have imagined the magnitude of what would have happened to the likes of Governors Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Emmanuel Udom of Akwa-Ibom State, if what happened to Ayo Fayose were to be their lot as such time like this.

The Governors of the South East region do not even need to be mentioned here as modalities to effectively address some anomalies orchestrated by unhealthy political actions are still ongoing. When resolved, they will also partake fully in the protection windfall made possible by the Biafran youths. Yoruba youths should realize that political, traditional and opinion leaders of a certain people are their indispensable front banners before the global community. They should understand that the state-sponsored humiliation of these people-oriented leaders in the mould of Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose is a humiliation to the entire Yoruba nation. If the Yoruba youths therefore fail to comprehend the reality of these Fulanis hiding under the cloak of politics to rubbish and completely conquer their land, then it is most unfortunate. If the Nigerian government is allowed to get away with the daylight victimization and humiliation of Governor Fayose for standing firm for the truth and protection of his people, with his immunity protection, soonest the Fulani oligarchists will swing into action against the Yoruba traditional stool. It will be disgusting to begin to begin to hear that the palaces of the Ooni of Ife, Alafin of Oyo, Oba of Lagos, Olubadan of Ibadan amongst others in Yorubaland are being invaded by the Nigerian army or that the traditional rulers are being molested by the Nigerian Police and nothing will happen.

This is the time for the Yoruba youths to emulate the courage and doggedness of the youths of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Biafraland who have practically and consistently defied the agonies and pains of unlawful incarcerations/killings of the Nigerian government, pointedly stating that Nigeria must be dissolved. This is to liberate all the entrapped nations in the contraption called Nigeria where only the Fulanis are the beneficiaries. The youths of Yorubaland must unanimously start up with serious and well coordinated agitations for the secession of the Oduduwa Republic or continue to lick their wounds. Biafrans have unrepentantly resolved to stop at nothing in their campaign for the dissolution of Nigeria.
