15 people were killed yesterday in the Wukari area of Taraba State in an ethnic-religious clash. A security officer told SaharaReporters that the killings occurred in Nwunkyo-Kura, where eight people were killed, and Wukari town where seven died. The source further disclosed that the clashes led to the imposition of a 24-hour curfew following consultations between the state government and security agencies operating in Taraba State. The spokesman of the Taraba State Police Command, Joseph Kwaji, confirmed the attacks. He said, however, that security personnel had been drafted to the conflict area. Biafra Galaxy
