Unongo: the New Fulani Slave

By Tim Tochukwu

For Biafra Choice Writers

Paul Unongo has continued with his slave work for the Northern peoples of Nigeria since he was appointed as the puppet of Northern Fulani people. Since his appointment as chairman of a group that calls itself Northern Elders Forum (NEF), he has been criticizing the Biafra restoration effort.

Recently, his latest criticism was directed at the Igbo group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, for standing against the plans of Buhari’s government’s to have Nnamdi Kanu – leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) – rearrested. By doing that, he proved that was no easy road for any frivolous and poverty-ravaged individual in freedom struggle, even for struggles against justice and equity. That such individual would not last long has been adequately proven by Unongo.

Unongo was a man who led everyone to believe that he was the modern-day Joseph Tarka. For many people who do not know Tarka, he was a strong fighter for the freedom of his Tiv people of Benue State. Tarka was born in 1932 and died in 1980. He was a founder of United Middle Belt Congress (UMBC), a group that stood firmly against the rampaging Islamic invaders from the Northern fringes of Nigeria – the murderous Fulani people. Unongo is a Tiv, but he has shamelessly sold out to the Fulani hegemonists.

At a time Unongo pretended to be a fighter like Tarka. He was a supporter of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe and contested for governorship under Nigerian Peoples Party (PDP) in 1983, but was rigged out by the Fulani Islamic rigging machine. His younger brother came from the US to support him but was brutally murdered by the Fulani. Today he is in bed with the murderous Fulani.

He is not even bothered that his community is being ravaged by Fulani herdsmen, and like Joe Igbokwe, he is not bothered by it. Instead, he is shamelessly supporting his Fulani overlords as one of the slave that loves his chains.

Unongo had the choice of remaining a fighter like Tarka, but he chose to play the-slave-that-loves-his-chains like Yakubu Gowon (another Fulani house-slave). Gowon and Danjuma were the first foolish Northern Christians that Northern Fulani hegemonists used as puppets to deceive the world that their 1966 counter coup (and the eventual Biafra/Nigerian war) was not a Fulani Muslim of subjugation and Islamization of Biafrans.

On July 17, this year, the demonic Northern group, (NEF), named Unongo as their new chairman (the same thing they did with Gowon), and the foolish Unongo has been doing his job. Ever since he was appointed, he has continued to do what they wanted of him, which is the work as a slave in the house of the Fulani.

Paul Unongo has become the new face of stupidity in Northern Nigeria, and the new slave that loves his chains like Gowon.
