In the opinion of President Goodluck Jonathan, the issue of corruption in the country has been dramatically exaggerated.
Speaking during the meeting with the Nigerian community in Namibia held in Windhoek, the country leader stated that “corruption is everywhere” adding however that it is over-celebrated in the country to the extent that the nation and its people are stigmatised.
According to the president, the government is doing their best to strengthen the relevant institutions in eliminating the problem.
Jonathan also urged every Nigerian to support the authorities in their efforts to build a new Nigeria.
President assured people that under close cooperation the nation would be completely transformed in the next 10 years.
