The exit of the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Chief Gregory Peter Obi  witnessed the highest and most reckless spread of money that could have been used for free, compulsory and qualitative education or other meaningful development of the state and today, nemesis has started dealing with some of the people that assisted the wove that defaced its self in cat coat in looting the State treasury with the State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Anambra State Command, Commandant Ochogwu Michael Uroko  as the first victim.

Information filtering the news desk of 247ureports from the office of the Commandant reveals that the man got himself into trouble when he allegedly embezzled undisclosed millions of Naira dished out to the authentic serving and the forged names of officers of the Corps that served in the Government House during the tenure of ex-governor, Mr. Peter Obi.

It would be recalled that the outgoing Commandant of NSCDC, Anambra State Command, Mr. Ochogwu Michael Uroko, resigned as a classroom teacher in Benue State and joined the red neck men in 2010 and when he was posted to Anambra state barley two years now, he became the first Commandant in the State to declare un-relentless war against yet to be absolved officers of the corps in the State.

Sources had it that before the 17th day of March, 2014, Mr. Peter Obi was alleged to have compensated every policeman that served his administration with (#300,000.00) three hundred thousand Naira each without including the men of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.

On noticing the development, a female Superintendent of the Corps (unconfirmed) officer in charge of all other officers in Government House was said to have met the Commandant and informed him of the development and they agreed that the female officer should not allow such ‘grace’ by-pass them hence they allegedly forged names that never served in Government House, the serving ones and submitted same.

The O/c Government House, (names withheld) according to reports, went back to her office and compiled the names of both serving and non-serving officers of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in the Government House, submitted same to the office of Mr. Peter Obi, whom in turn approved the list submitted by the Civil Defence female officer in charge of Government House.

It was also gathered that over sixty names was submitted and each of the name was paid (#100,000.00) one hundred thousand Naira each which amounts to over (#60,000,000.00) sixty Million Naira. Few of the officers whom their name appeared on the list got only (#10,000.00) Ten thousand Naira each while some of the lieutenants of the Commandant got less than what they expected hence the dirty deals perfected in closed door was made public.

Instead of bringing the culprits to book, the authorities of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Nigeria is today accused to be compounding felony as the only punishment for the accused thieves under the cover of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC was transfer of Mr. Ochogwu Michael Uroko probably to another Command of the corps instead of immediate dismissal of all involved in an open day corruption.

Efforts made to reach Mr. Ochogwu Michael Uroko who saw himself as a demigod while serving in Anambra State for comment proved abortive as his lieutenants met during the constant visit of 247ureports to the Command Headquarters opposite Government House Awka, the state capital was treated with laxity by the men of the Command.
