Information reaching 247ureports.com from Umuahia reveals that the noise generated over the accidental death of the cousin to Engineer Chinedu Orji [Governor Orji’s son] recently may have been result of blackmail ‘reports’ authored by some of Orji Uzor Kalu’s aides and published on Igbere TV – an outfit financed by Orji Uzor Kalu – the former governor of Abia State. The ‘reports’ had attributed the cause of John Ndukuba’s death to Engineer Chinedu Orji. The ‘report’ went on to tag the Governor’s son as a terrorist.

But the outfit ‘Igbere TV’ was quick to apologize for the publication’. It came through written message from Igbere TV following the arrest of one of the send authors of the publication.

The apology reads –

“Once again we at Igbere TV are dissociating ourselves from our former colleague who have aligned with one odimegwu onwumere to link the arrest of one Ebere Wabara to Abia gov.

Our investigations revealed that Ebere Wabara who is Orji Uzor Kalus P A.  was arrested by the police on an article he wrote in SUN claiming that Engr. Chinedum Orji killed his late cousin, John Ndubuka. Recall that this falsehood was published on Igbere TV and we did apologize to Engr. Orji when we found out the truth.

The police authorities have been investigating this incident and since Ebere Wabara claims knowledge of who killed John, police want him to come and give more clue in the court. As for the wife of Wabara who was lamenting the husband’s arrest, she should have warned him against defaming people’s character. Let Ebere go to court and provide evidence over his claims. We at igbere TV want Ebere prosecuted in the law court”.

Ebere Wabara was picked up following a court issued warrant to appear in Court. He was picked up in Lagos. He is due to appear in Court in Umuahia, Abia State.
