The couple who have been childless 18years after wedlock were alleged to have arranged with the proprietor of the home to buy Chidinma’s baby on delivery when police acting on a tip off raided the home leading to the rescue of Ozichi Chinasa, among others
As at the time of filing this report, unconfirmed reports have it that Chidinma has put to bed a baby boy at an undisclosed hospital in the city.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Abia state command, Geoffrey Ogbonna said he was not aware of the incident, but a senior police officer at the Aba Area Command hinted that the couple on interrogation confessed to the crime, pleading that they were tempted into the act because of the frustration of childlessness 18years after wedlock.
