The Boko Haram insurgents have killed over 100 people in Adamawa, according to a local vigilante group.Our correspondent gathered that mountain settlers in Hildi, Backky Dutse in Hong local government areas of Adamawa State have come under severe attacks by the insurgents who have murdered over 100 villagers.Reports coming in from Michika, Madagali and Hong indicated that the sect is gaining more footholds in the state. Obasanjo’s son injured in Boko Haram terrorists ambush

A son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo was injured yesterday in an ambush by Boko Haram fighters.Lt.-Col. Adeboye Obasanjo, an engineer, was said to have been shot in his legs. A source at his 3rd Division in Jos, the Plateau State capital, confirmed the incident, saying it happened in Adamawa State where troops are fighting to dislodge Boko Haram from some towns.Some soldiers reportedly died in the ambush.
