Report reaching DailyPost indicates that an explosion just occurred in central Kaduna, killing no fewer than 39 people.
The blast occurred Wednesday afternoon along Isa Kaita roads.
Premium Times reports that the explosion is believed to have been targeted at the convoy a prominent Islamic cleric, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, who was on his way to the Square.
A source who gave his name Hassan Mohammed, disclosed that the bomb, concealed in a red Volkswagen golf car parked by the road side, was detonated as the Muslim cleric convoy drove past.
