Every September 14th shall for ever remain bitterly evergreen in the lives and minds of every hardcore IPOB members and lovers of freedom worldwide. On that faithful day of September 14th 2017, the peaceful community of Afara Ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia and the Royal Palace of Eze Israel Okwu Kanu witnessed the influx of various degrees of war armaments and personnel from land and air.

One would think that there is a war situation leading to such multiple battalions defiling the sacred palace of a renowned traditional ruler, which cannot even happen anywhere in the Northern part of Nigeria. Further inquiries, it was gathered that the marauding Janjaweed terrorists in Army uniform were sponsored by the federal government of Nigeria through the support and arrangements of South-East Governors, Ike Ekweremadu and Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo planned and unleashed this hell in Afara-Ukwu in a bid to exterminate the life of the IPOB leader – Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

This mission was very clear to specifically assassinate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and put a stop to the Biafra movement cum agitation that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu leads. One would then ask, why do you want to assassinate a man the Nigerian government held in her dungeon for almost two years, someone tyrant Muhammadu Buhari pocketed judges could not convict in Justice John Tsoho and Binta Nyako’s court room for more that thirty-six (36) times. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu billed to return to Judge Binta Nyako’s court room twelve (12) days from the day the Nigerian government embarked on that evil mission of silencing him in Umuahia.

In that hostile and stampede process, twenty-eight (28) gallant men who stood for what they believed in, in defense of freedom and defense of the Indigenous People of Biafra leader were gunned down by the Fulani Janjaweed terrorists in Army uniform, the palace of late Eze Okwu Israel Kanu, the father to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra was soaked in blood, in fact blood flowed like a river, the Afara-Ukwu ancient traditional stool was defiled bearing in mind that the Igbo culture forbids the spilling of human blood even in a palace.

Souls were lost during that hostility encounter with the invading army of occupation of Nigerian government, though the Nigerian government didn’t succeed and failed in her attempt of assassinating the IPOB leader, but the mark of betrayal by our people still remains fresh in our hearts forever. As we remember in tears and pains 14th of September, “SABOTEUR’S DAY” we remember the gallant twenty-eighty (28) men who felled in our defense, we remember those of our brothers and sisters who sold us out to the enemies, we remember the South-East Governors and the Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo group and the evil role they played in selling us to our enemies for possible elimination.

The evil roles of Biafra saboteurs shall never be forgotten, not now, not ever. But we say never again, we are going to hunt down every potential saboteur our midst in due time, we must put an end to sabotaging the people’s efforts in Biafra land and make our land, a land for great people.
