Freedom of expression is one of the hallmarks of democratic setting, media reportage plays major role in information dissemination, enlightenment of general public on things needed to know on jurisprudent and social milieu. Freedom of expression is the right to speak without restriction, but it is alien to Nigeria.
Judiciary is assigned with primary responsibility to interpret laws in accordance with the constitution for justice to prevail. But in Nigeria, its Judiciary is a hot bed of manipulation, maneuvering to bury truth. It has been used to mess up the politics of the country. We saw this at work recently in court as Nnamdi Kanu, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader appeared in court. Binta Nyako, the presiding Judge at the Federal High Court in charge of Kunu’s case shamefully danced naked like a dog that goes back to its vomit by reintroducing secret trial she had squashed on a previous ruling.
Like her predecessor on the same case, who deceitfully used inapplicable Francophone Civil Law against the Common law that Nigeria practices in his attempt to jail Kanu, Nyako is trying to use Sharia Law. Binta had, in a previously appearance in court, boasted that her one-sided personal decisions were going to be final and that she would not entertain any objection. She failed to acknowledge the fact that she ought to be a mouthpiece of justice, fairness; and a mediator between a prosecutor and a defendant.
We can, from all that transpired in court that day, say that baring media coverage is synonymous to secret trial. We can also say that continuous adjournment of a case – for more than a year (as is the case with Kanu’s case) – amounts to a trick to detain the IPOB leader indefinitely. We know that if Buhari and his fellow Fulani killers have their way, they will keep the Biafran leader behind bars for up to five years as his Directorate of State Security (DSS) did with the 2000 people in its underground cell.
Since Buhari, came to power Court of Law replicates Nigeria Law Enforcement Agency where ones freedom of expression is held down; and people are tortured and intimidated. A court ought to be a free-zone where debating and reasoning should take centre-stage. But fraudulent Judges like John Tsoho and Binta Nyako have been used to frustrate it. that was why Nnamdi Kanu and his colleagues were repeatedly denied the right to express themselves.

Nigeria is said to be a secular State, in accordance with the provision of common law now is being forced into Islamic monastic order using Sharia Law. She therefore shows herself to be an unstable and unreliable personality to be made a judge for her sudden turn around to declare that Kanu and colleagues would be tried under Sharia Law. “… according to Sharia law Nnamdi Kanu, will be trial secretly “ she said.
What show of ignorance! Is she aware that Sharia Law cannot be administered on none Muslims? Does this moron know that none of the said offences were committed under a place of Sharia jurisdiction? Her utterances was an eye opener, it proved that Buhari, Boko Haram are one and the same – terrorists.
Buhari made a speech, which he delivered at a Seminar organized by the Supreme Council of Sharia in Nigeria, on August 2001, “god willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of Sharia in the entire federation of Nigeria”.

But Buhari knew that preaching with word of mouth alone would not convince non-Muslim to accept Islam. So he has been trying to actualize it with by supporting his fellow illiterate killers in the terror camp of Boko Haram group. At a time in 2012, the group leader, Abubakar Shekau had to echo Buhari by declaring: “by Allah, we will not stop fighting until every Nigerian is living by Sharia Law, if you don’t abide we will kill you”.
Biafrans are not surprised with all the things happening. Nnamdi Kanu had said severally that it would happen. When Buhari’s government, after claims that he had defeated Boko Haram, and Islamic flag was unfurled by Buhari in Aso Rock, Biafrans knew that the handover of the leadership of Nigeria’s many terror cartels had changed hands. Buhari had become the supreme leader of terrorist Islam in the whole of Africa.
It only points to one thing; Buhari wants to use this case to press his Islamic agenda further. It will not stand! Biafrans will resist it!!
Biafrans say no secret trial!!! Nnamdi Kanu must be free!
