Asari-Dokubo-2President Goodluck Jonathan shall win the 2015 presidential election convincingly and successfully rule Nigeria till 2019,

his radical kinsman, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari, has declared.

Writing this morning on his Facebook page, Dokubo, a repentant Niger Delta war leader and Founder/Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, said: “The president will not resign…he will go on to win 2015…you people are known for ranting but when real men enter the field you show your back. When the come come to become the happen will happen.”

Still replying Jonathan’s critics and those determined to deprive him of a second term, in 2015, Dokubo wrote in another post: “Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, will win so convincingly in 2015….. 2015 will confirm the electoral worth of every one of us….make we wait….tomorrow no far.”

Meanwhile, some other radical Jonathan’s Ijaw kinsmen under the aegis of Izon Ikemi have threatened fire and brimstone if he is prevented from seeking re-election in 2015. The group made its position known in a communiqué released yesterday after its meeting the previous night in Okirika, Rivers State. The meeting was attended by prominent Ijaw citizens such as former militant leader, Chief Tom Ateke, National Chairman of Izon Ikemi, Chief Kalaiti Jephthah, and the group’s National Secretary, Mr. Akpos Mezeh.

Part of the communiqué made clear as follows:

“That while Izon Ikemi welcomes constructive criticism as normal in constitutional and participatory democracy, it frowns at unwarranted attacks at President Jonathan and promise to resist any negative opposition from other tribes including opposition within the Niger Delta.

“That Izon Ikemi has discovered a plot by desperate politicians to destabilise the government of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan; the Ijaw ethnic nationality view the ongoing crisis in the ruling party (PDP) as being targeted at intimidating and frustrating the President out of running in the next presidential election.

“Izon Ikemi cannot watch helplessly while he is being hunted by those who never wished the country well but are only pursuing their selfish interests.”
