“If the prize is death, for all we hold dear, let us die without a shred of fear” and the gallant IPOB twenty-eight (28) lived to this solemn oath and pledge as they stood gallantly in defense of our freedom, in defense of fatherland and in defense of Truth.

We remember in tears, in pains, with a sorrowful and heavy hearts but with an assured mind of victory, the gallant IPOB twenty-eight (28) that felled at Afara Ukwu Ibeku Umuahia, they were gruesomely murdered in cold blood by the Nigerian government Military formation stationed at Afara Ukwu Ibeku Umuahia, the home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra – Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by Chief of Staff to dictator Muhammadu Buhari Presidency – late Abba Kyari, late Ismaila Isa Funtua, Mamman Daura, Ike Ekweremadu, South-East Governors and Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo for identifying with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu over his Biafra emancipation struggle.

When the marauding Islamic Janjaweed terrorists in Army uniform came to kill and destroy, their aim and objective was to assassinate the IPOB leader and those who will stand in from stopping them to carry the act, the Nigerian Army mission was to wipe us out in cold blood, the very gallant IPOB (28) stood in defense of our lives and in the process paid the ultimate prize which is death, they men of valour and integrity.

As we remember this day, your bravery and your deaths, we assure you – the departed that in truth and in all honesty, that which you laboured, stood and died for shall never be in vain.

We assure you that your killers and the killers of our people shall be hunted down and made to drink from their own poisonous mixture. We shall never forgive them in all clarity of purpose. The only debt we owe your memories is to fight on, until victory is assured, never shall we retreat and never shall we surrender. Not now, not tomorrow and not ever. From the spirit world we say fight on, do not allow our enemies to rest, expose them, hunt them down until we lay our hands on them.

Be very much assured that this storm is gathering heavily and the very day we shall march, the sun will not set; that very day, every saboteur(s) in our midst will be brought down, our enemies will be crushed and the flag that embolden the free shall be raised and Chukwu Okike Abiama will be worshipped in Biafra, with our trumpet pilling and our voices sounding with a glorious song over victory we scored over might and strong. We remember you all and shall always do, revenge your deaths, great comrades and gallant men of honour.
